This Winter there’s fun for all the family!

This season, finding out the London’s entertainments you don’t have to miss can be very hard… there are so many things!!!

  • Visit Santa’s Secret VillageSanta's Secret Village

While adults enjoy the delights of the Cologne Market, children will be enchanted tby the chance to visit Santa & Mrs Claus in their own chalet, hidden away on the South Bank.

From 10 am to 8pm until Tuesday December 23rd, in the German market between the London Eye and South Bank Centre / Royal Festival Hall along the river.

  • Practise Ice Skating at the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew

Just in front of the Temperate House discover the 1,000 square metre Kew’s Ice Rink until January 1st. Take your whole family with you and enjoy storytellings, horse and carriage rides or a visit to Father Christmas.

  • Have fun in the Bankside Winter FestivalBankside Festival

New for 2008, the Bankside Winter Festival is an extension of the annual Frost Fair which has taken place in London for over 400 years. From the Tate Modern to the Globe Theatre, along the Thames, there is plenty of festive fun for all and numerous market stalls in order to find your last gifts for friends and family!

  • Attend Henry VIII’s Christmas at Hampton Court

Whilst Henry VIII relaxes with his food and wine, see the Tudor court mill around him and watch the past being brought alive for fascinated little ones or join in the fun!
