WICKED tells the incredible untold story of an unlikely friendship between two girls who first meet as Sorcery Students at Shiz University: the blonde and very popular Glinda and a misunderstood green girl, Elphaba.

Following an encounter with The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, their friendship reaches a crossroads and their lives take very different paths. Glinda’s unflinching desire for popularity sees her seduced by power while Elphaba’s determination to remain true to herself, and to those around her, will have unexpected and shocking consequences for their future.

…It is Kew’s  Royal Botanic Garden 250th anniversay

At the centre of the Tropical Extravaganza festival is the Princess of Wales Conservatory which will be brimming with thousands of orchids and tropical flowers such as bromeliads and anthuriums.

As well as providing a spectacular visual feast, the exhibition also marks Kew’s 250th anniversary, with celebratory ribbons and presents incorporated into displays throughout the conservatory.

It is a perfect occasion to have a wonderful day outdoors.
