On June 5th we all have a date with the planet !

On June 5th, we celebrate World Environment Day!

Every year with this event, the United Nations intend to increase people’s awareness about the environment and to stimulate the attention and the political action towards it.

Moreover, this year, thanks to the well-known french fotographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand and to the famous french producer Luc Besson, we will enjoy the free presentation of “HOME“, the most awaited environmental movie of the year. It will be showed on the screens of more than 70 countries as weel as on the Internet, on DVD and on television.

HOME” presents a balance of the Earth’s state seen from the sky and intends to raise consciousness about its situation and about the environment’s deterioration.

In order to be scientifically irreproachable, the movie was presented to Al Gore, the US vice president and Peace Noble Prize, and to the US environmentalist Lester Brown, who brought precisions.

Four channels have already been prepared on YouTube -in french, english, spanish and german–, and an arabic one will be launched thanks to the Al Jazirah channel. Also, begining on June 5th, everyone will be able to download the movie for free.

Enjoy this event with your kids and help to stimulate the next generations’ awareness about the Earth’s future.
