Ideas for easter (egg decorating)

Polka DottedBefore decorating or creating your egg animals, or any other kind of egg decorating, you need to empty the eggs so it will last.

In order to empty  the egg you have to poke one side of the egg witha  utility knife and the other end with a paper clip, both of these steps have to be done carefully so the egg does not break. Then stir the yolk and with an ear syringe squeeze so the content comes out. Now you are ready to decorate you egg! (more…)

Lentils, good for your children

It is not easy to absorb iron form a non animal source, that´s way lentils are so healthy for your children. They provide their little bodies of iron, one of the best complements fot their brain development. You can buy them at a supermarket, besides their are cheap and have a great nutritive value.

You can make them with vegetables as carrots, onions, potatoes, celery… You just have to rinse the vegetables and peel them, fry lightly the vegetables in a pan, rinse the lentils, add them to the pan with some water, add salt (if you want), cover and cook everything for 30 minutes aprox and ¡that´s it!. If you prefered them like puree, put it in a blender.

TIP: put the lentils the day before in a bold with water, this way you can soften them a little.
